Yoshis: early kills
Fod: potential low platforms benefit him
Bf: battlefield is battlefield is battlefield
Dreamland: dreamland is dreamland is dreamland

(Final Destination > Battlefield > Stadium > Fountain of Dreams > Yoshi's Story > Dreamland)

Final Destination : Raw ground game, all Roy has.

Battlefield : Good Roy combos here, he can waveland onto platforms with ease.

Stadium : Lots of room for dash dancing, the platforms are convenient for Roy.

Fountain of Dreams : Low platforms, Roy has a decent combo game here, early Forward Smash kills.

Yoshi's Story : Platforms are in awkward positions for Roy and not much room to dash dance. At least he has early Forward Smash kills.

Dreamland : Absolutely atrocious stage for Roy. The platforms are terrible for him and this level is too large for Roy to get early Forward Smash kills.

I think Brinstar is really good because the lava can send the enemies up into your neutral B.

basically any stage with a lot of flat surface (FD, pokemon, dreamland with low platforms) are the best picks as roy, battlefield can work too sometimes imo, and dreamland i don't have much experience with as roy
