When Roy's final smash is activated, everything else is slowed way down, which isn't bad in itself, however, if Mewtwo is levitating, he starts levitating infinitely, ending in his death most of the time.
All you need to do to reproduce the glitch is start a battle with Roy and Mewtwo, have Roy get the final smash, and use it while Mewtwo is levitating. This seems to occasionally make him end up on the left side of the practice stage, behind the wall, if he was levitating to the right.
