Ronia is a girl growing up in a castle in the wood in a band of robbers; as the chief's only child, she is expected to become the leader of the band someday. Their castle, Matt's Fort, was split in two parts by a lightning bolt on the day of her birth; soon afterwards, a different robber clan, the 'Borkas', settled one section, resulting in perpetual armed strife. Ronia grows up with the robber clan as her only companions.
She is a character from Astrid Lindgrens books.
She's awesome. 3000 people are named Ronia today, thanks to this girl. She even had her own movie. She was named after a sea named Juronjaure.
She was in a PC game called Ronja Rövardotter.
Some of you might know her as Kirsty, as that was her translated name for a while.
This year, Astrid Lindgren would have been 100 years old. As a homage to her, Sakurai might ignore the "only characters originating in a videogame "-rule.
