Rockin's SMASHFEST, NYC (Aug 12, Sunday)

Hey everyone. I'm hosting a Smashfest on Aug 12. Right here in Bronx, New York. I've made several invites to this smashfest, but I've got room for 5 or so more people.

Take the D or 4 Train to Kingsbridge
Walk down 3 blocks towards the direction to the armory (5 blocks if you take the D train)
When you reach a hill, don't go down the hill. turn right and it's the first building you see (on the block you're walking on)

Here are several things you might wanna know

- Do we have to pay for food/drinks -

No, not at all. I'll buy pizza and soda for everyone.

-Will we have any tourtuments?-

Yes, but only singles. We'll do 3 tourtuments. A normal one, a Low tier one, and a custom made tourtument I make just for fun ^^. The price for each of them is $5 (so that means bring 15 dollars if you wanna play all 3 of them). Also, we gotta have at least 10 people to do a toury.

-Do we have to bring TVs/systems?-

No TVs. There'll be 3 TVs already in stock. I do need people who's coming to at least bring a Gamecube System and a Smash CD for the event so more people could play.

I'm pretty sure I don't have to tell you all to behave and all, right? Good

yeah i was planning 2 go 2 bums like always, knowing theres "suppose" to be more people coming from NJ and what not, but if anything i reccomend it maybe on sunday or on a random weekday

I'm not sure if Sunday's really good. Not that I can't have it on sundays. I'll explain.

Okay, you got on Fridays, a biweekly, and then saturday, Bum's weekly. When you look at it, you're spending about 20 dollars each week if they go on both of those. There's no garantee if they have money left, even though the touries would cost a dollar each.

But, if they say so, I'll move it to this sunday or Wednesday. Take ya pick, people.

I can't host it this saturday because of a toury in Long Island and Bum's Biweekly. A lot of people have their mind sets on that one right now.

Free Food and Drinks on a title? XDD Look, I know we have black and hispanics playing this game, but we're not that ghetto (Except Bum) XD. Plus, I don't want the food and drinks to be the main attraction, you know.

This is the first time I'm doing this, and it's already a bad start. X_X Hopefully, I'll plan a better one in August (if this one goes well)

Despite the numbers, this 'small' smashfest went out pretty good. It didn't matter much the number of people, but who attended. Listen, I understand that ya had plans/sudden plans that prevented ya from coming. It's okay, I'm not mad at that at all. It's my fault for making this thing short notice. That's why I'm gonnd do another Smashfest on August 12, which will be on a sunday.

This time I got some different rules about this.

- If you would like to come, you have to let me know if you could bring either a Gamecube system or a smash CD. This will help other people play, as I'll provide the TVs.

- In order to enter tourtuments, you gotta pay $5 (Which I'll run 3 tourtuments, so that means bring $15). First prize winner takes the whole pot.

-The smashfests will end at around 10:30 or 11:00 PM (My grandmother said ya could stay as long as ya want, so we could stretch this a bit if needed)

Everything else will be the same. Free food and drinks provided and such.

So yeah, remember, August 12.
