Not suprising, it's Rob the accessory too. He was in mario kart ds, why not put him in brawl, I'm now 1000% I was right about the 35 roster, and how can people say ROB sucks when we havn't seen any video of game play or seen any moves yet.

****. Don't close this thread, close Every Thread. This sucks unimaginably. What the hell where they thinking. Why were they so lazy? We may never understand. But I'm serious, Sakurai and his team blew it. They did not put enough emphasis on Playable Characters even when they knew the game was going to be On-line. So instead of the joyous surprise of fighting a bunch of different characters you get a small number of fighters most of which are vets and or clones, some of which are turd nuggets like Celda link and Rob (the close to virtual boy in crappiness gimmick accesory). That is the sucks, big-time. The game will be good and all . . . it could have just been really good.

Not really, I'd say that position definitely stays with G&W (as far as SSB is concerned). After all, it's not as if there was *any* indication that he was even being considered for Melee; R.O.B. made a recent appearance in Mario Kart, giving him some relevance to modern times. It just doesn't seem as "out there" as G&W.

What's everyone got against ROB? Personally I'm really glad it's not ROB 64, and is THE WTF ROB, you must admit he's quite a good WTF.

To be honest, I'm not disappointed with ROB. If I had Mewtwo instead of Wolf, then I'd quite like the roster. Lack of Mewtwo hurts my soul.

I don't have a problem with Robot. He's cool with me. It's just I hope that prophet is wrong with the Wolf thing... Cel shaded Link isn't that bad, but there are better choices for a character. F-Zero and Metroid both need another representative. Wolf over Ridley? Cel Link over Black Shadow? Come on now...

I have no problem if there's only 35 characters. But the one from the prophet? I just can't accept it.

Well, at least ROB is cool. I rather like him, and hope he's good enough to compete but not so good the scene fills up with robots.

On the other hand... if WW Link and Wolf are in, I will die a little inside. Star Fox didn't need another character, and Young Link's old design was perfectly serviceable if they wanted to leave him in (although he could easily have been replaced). I'm sad Mewtwo seems to be gone, replaced by Lucario, of all pokemon. Really, Lucario? WTF?

I'd been hoping for someone actually cool, like Megaman, Bomberman, or Geno. To tell the truth, I'd been hoping for Locke and/or Edgar from Final Fantasy III/VI, but that idea never had a snowball's chance in Hell anyway.
