Hey folks, it's IC3R...I've been playing on Shoddy Battle a lot lately, and I've built a boat-load of teams (some functioning better than others...). This is one I think could definitely use some work...It's a Water-type Team!!! Water is my favorite type, but with all the new Pokes and strategies floating around like Hoppips on a windy day, I just can't seem to beat, like, two people...

I could really use some help to make this team GODLY...

========
Suicune - Auror @Leftovers
Calm / Pressure
EV - 248 HP, 110 Def, 152 SpDef
~Surf
~HP Grass
~Calm Mind
~Substitute

Sub, CM, Sweep...pretty basic...I don't know why I have HP Grass...

----------
Starmie - Shurikai @Choice Specs
Timid / Natural Cure
EV - 252 SpAt, 6 SpDf, 252 Spd
~Surf
~Thunderbolt
~Ice Beam
~Grass Knot

SpecSweeper, nothing new there...

----------
Swampert - Skipper @ (Need Suggestion)
Adamant / Torrent
EV - 252 HP, 6 Att, 252 Def
~Earthquake
~Avalanche
~Brick Break
~Curse

A variation of CursePert...Brick Break for Blissey, Lucario, and other stupids I can't think of at the moment...

----------
Gyarados - Draconus @Muscle Band
Jolly / Intimidate
EV - 6 HP, 252 Att, 252 Spd
~Waterfall
~Earthquake
~Dragon Dance
~Thunder Wave

I have T-Wave because no one expects it. I can DDance on a predictable switch...

----------
Azumarill - Bluez @Choice Band
Adamant / Huge Power
EV - 100 HP, 252 Att, 100 Def, 48 SpDf, 10 Spd
~Waterfall
~Aqua Jet (OMG!)
~Brick Break
~Ice Punch

Thanks, Zook!
EDIT: Sorry Celebi. That's yours, isn't it? I get the Pichu avatars mixed up...

----------
Milotic - Hydrokoi @Leftovers
Bold / Marvel Scale
EV - 248 HP, 152 Def, 106 SpDf
~Surf/Water Pulse
~Dragon Pulse/DragonBreath
~Substitute
~Aqua Ring

My SuperTank. I have the option of being a powerhouse, or a Status inducer--Water Pulse confuses, and DragonBreath paralyzes...I don't want Ice Beam because this thing called be walled by another good Water-type, so DPulse for neutral damage. WOOT!

======
I'm also seriously considering using Kingdra as my SpecialSweeper instead of Starmie...

Kingdra - Aquashot @ (Whatever)
Modest / Swift Swim
EV - 6 HP, 252 SpAt, 252 Spd
~Surf
~Ice Beam
~HP Electric
~Rain Dance

A RainSweeper...Rain Dance can also help my other Pokes as well, especially Azumarill...

======

Yeah, that's my Water-team with a Sideliner. I'm not too talented with EVs, or at Pokemon much anymore; when Diamond and Pearl came out, I went from PokeMaster to Poken00b in a matter of seconds on this forum...Any and all help is greatly appreciated.

And a Wii-o-Meter reading wouldn't be too bad, either...;)

Get to work people!

Don't demand Wii4Mii to "get to work". ;)

If you're using CalmCune (Calm as in Calm Mind), use Bold and Ice Beam. Also, consider RestTalk.

Try Leftovers. Correct mii if I'm wrong, but doesn't Hammer Arm lower Speed after you use it? The Speed loss wouldn't be a problem on Cursepert.

This needs some work. First of all, try to hit 266 Special Attack so you can OHKO 4 HP / 0 SpDef Garchomp. Max out your Defense, with the rest in HP. For the moveset...

Surf
Ice Beam
Recover / Rest
Hypnosis / Sleep Talk

While Milotic is sleeping, Marvel Scale activates, along with Leftovers and Milotic's already high Special Defense and HP.

I'm not really a fan of single-type teams, for obvious reasons. If your still going to do it, definitely add your rain dancing kingdra, to remove shared weaknesses.

-Also not a fan of thunder wave on Gyarados. Taunt makes it much harder to take down.
-If you're going to be cursing on Swampert, put a few EVs in special defense.

Azumaril learns Aqua Jet through breeding, you can't breed Ice Punch onto it too. Try Double Edge or Return, BTW-

That's my EV Spread 0.0...

Overall on my BII - O - Meter,

79.97/100- Good team, but it could use a feeeeeeeeew tweaks.

I made an intresting Suicune a while back if your want to try it:
Suicune @ Leftovers/ Light Clay/ Chesto Berry
Pressure: Bold
240 HP, 100 Defense, 152 Speed, 16 Sp. Defense
Surf/ Ice Beam
Reflect
Calm Mind
Roar/ Rest
Bring itin on a physical attacker who can't kill it very easily, and use Calm Mind/ Reflect on the predicted attacker. After a few Calm minds and Reflect under your belt, you can easily stand up to almost any attack. Use Surf if you don't fear Water Absorbers(or if your have spikes support and your using Roar), Ice Beam if your are scared of them. I used Roar mainly cause I used it on a spikes team, but Rest is good too if you don't think you can get off the needed Reflect/ Calm Minds before you die, and you could pair it with a Chesto Berry for a wake-up call. The EVs produce 401 HP for maximum Leftovers recovery, 244 Speed to outspeed Jolly Tyranitars, 270 Special Defense for maximum survivability after a Calm Mind, and the rest in Defense.
HP Grass was probably for Swampert starters. Also, I don't suggest using my set as a starter.

Earthquake does the same damage on Blissey as brick Break, and does more on Lucario.
Replace it with rest/ Stone Edge, and if Rest, use a Chesto Berry.

Maybe use an Expert Belt with Ice Fang over Thunder Wave for a complete sweeping set.

~Waterfall
~Aqua Jet (OMG!)
~Brick Break
~Ice Punch

Thanks, Zook!
As Celebi previously stated, use Azumarill with Double-Edge, and possibly Focus Punch over Brick Break. I wish Ice Punch could go with Aqua Jet, and I wish belly Drum could, too T.T
248 HP, 252 Attack, 4 Defense, 4 Sp. Defense
Maximum survivability bypassing speed

Milotic - Hydrokoi @Leftovers
Bold / Marvel Scale
EV - 248 HP, 152 Def, 106 SpDf

I like the idea for using Dragonbreath and Water Pulse as Parafusion-use those two moves and Rest Talk for a complete set, since marvel scale could help you out there.

I really enjoyed writing about Suicune and loved the Milotic set, I see too much of an electric weakness, even with a Water Mono team. Possibly use Lanturn or Ludicolo.

Did I mention that this is on Shoddy Battle? Azumarill can get away with Aqua Jet and Ice Punch there...and I was aware that it couldn't learn them both in "real life." And isn't DrumJet banned?

I had forgotten about Hammer Arm on Swampert. I think I'll do that...

Sleep'n'Sweep Milotic looks like fun...but then I can't do it on Suicune...Sleep Clause...

And yes, ODIN. Where could you have possibly seen a Kingdra

Thanks folks! Gonna try out the new stuff!

Sleep clause only applies to the opponent putting your pokemon to sleep.
like a +6 Speed Breloom can't always beat your team because hey spore something, then u switch to, say, cloyster with Icicle spear as they sub. They COULD put you to sleep and stop you completely, BUT sleep clause is in effect.
Also, all 6 of your pokemon could be asleep, like if they put something to sleep, and your other 5 use rest, and it won't break sleep clause.

If "BellyJet" is banned, then so is "IceJet".

Yeah, I'm articanus, I originally went by ss118 before I got an AIM address, some1 had taken it. So I randomly made "Articanus", which is my current gamer tag.
I need to get my name changed on here.
Wii, no, I didn't, I was using my UU team, and I had to go before I finish the battle.

since it relies on rain dance to sweep, a good item would be a damp rock which will extend the duration of rain dance to 8 turns and will also power up your other pokemon. i would have a tough time chosing between kingdra and starmie but kingdra seems the way to go. if kingdra faints and rain dance is still in effect, electric sweepers will be hitting your other pokemon with thunders at 100% accuracy...

Hmm mono teams :] Suicune should max HP with Bold, especially if you're CMing. Also, because you're CMing, 152 EVs is far too much in SpDef. You should be concentrating on defense on Suicune. If you wish to get the OHKO on Garchomp, 266 SpAtk is required, so 200 EVs for a max IV Suicune. If you don't care, then just go defense. By the way, Ice Beam over HP [Grass]. The prevalence of 4x ice weaknesses is really rather nice to exploit. That plus the fact that grass and water pretty much have the same coverage, and if you want to hit other waters, then go HP [Electric], which also conveniently takes care of Gyarados. Ice Beam is still the preferred option, but Hidden Power isn't bad. If you do go HP [Electric], 124 SpAtk EVs are required to 2HKO Gyarados in absence of sand. It's not possible for you to OHKO Gyarados, even with one Calm Mind. With 2 CMs, you'll need 28 EVs. All these calculations were on standard bulky Gyarados with 212hp/16atk/180def/100spd. Pure sweeping ones will take considerably less EV investment.

Swampert and Gyarados both need Leftovers. Umm. Let's see. What else... I agree with Wii4Mii. =/ I don't see Thunder Wave working on a pure sweeper spread like yours (I wouldn't really even consider it unless it's a bulky spread). Hehe illegal Azumarill that Shoddy can't detect :] Fun fact: your Gyarados gets walled 100% by Mantine, but who the hell uses Mantine :] Milotic really needs a recovery move outside of Aqua Ring, especially with Substitute. ResTalk will work, or Recover is good too.

Let's see... weak points. Well, Jolteon and Vaporeon both have fun with your team, switching in and out of your attacks to absorb them. Obligatory mention of CSHera - if it Stone Edges your Gyarados too many times, the rest of your team will fall. Any fast sweeper with Thunderbolt and Grass Knot becomes a problem, really. Other Starmies, Azelfs, SpecsZam, and friends cause problems. But overall pretty solid for a team consisting of a single type. You might want to add Vaporeon for Wish support, because your team would have a LOT more problems without Swampert, and currently, you have no way of healing it.

Misamigus @ Leftovers
Levitate: Timid
4 HP, 252 Speed, 252 Special Attack
Shadow Ball
HP Fighting
Calm Mind
Substitute

Meant to punish those who think the best thing to stop it is bring in Blissey. Can't seismic toss away her subs, and calm mind negates her Ice Beam, along with her subs negating lucky Crits and Thunder Waves.
Wii4Mii just didn't realize it till it was too late, and got 6-0ed for that mistake.
To show your not the only one, Great Sage also fell to it with a 6-0, but mainly cuz I got a lucky crit on his CM Blissey
