This team contains nothing original, so if you want to see something new and exciting this is not your lucky day.

I have to say, out of all the teams I've created recently (by that I mean the past 2 weeks or so) this one definitely shows the most potential. I had been messing around with a core team that used Machamp, Heatran, and Scizor as sweepers and I think with this one I hit the sweet spot.

pixie dust (Azelf) @ Focus Sash
Ability: Levitate
EVs: 4 Atk/252 Spd/252 SAtk
Naive nature (+Spd, -SDef)
- Explosion
- Psychic
- Stealth Rock
- Taunt

Typical bull**** OU lead. Honestly though, it does exactly what I need to do. Nothing more, nothing less. I may think about replacing it with Aerodactyl, but I like the bonuses Explosion and Psychic give.

topless girl (Machamp) (F) @ Leftovers
Ability: No Guard
EVs: 252 HP/252 Atk/4 Spd
Adamant nature (+Atk, -SAtk)
- Substitute
- Dynamicpunch
- Payback
- Stone Edge

Machamp is someone who I've wanted to use on a team for a long time but I could never decide what specific build to use. I had trouble deciding if I wanted to use a Choice Build and lock myself into attacks, a Resttalk build and be able to tank at the cost of attacks, or a Sub Build where neither tanking or damage was optimal but he was more balanced overall. I originally had Thunderpunch instead of Stone Edge and I was mulling for a long time over whether or not I should switch it out for Ice Punch. Then I realized because of No Guard that I don't have to worry about the accuracy drop from Stone Edge, so I decided to go with that lol. Machamp has been very good on this team. If I read my opponent correctly he can take out **** near anything and get a sub up.

no u (Starmie) @ Choice Scarf
Ability: Natural Cure
EVs: 4 HP/252 Spd/252 SAtk
Timid nature (+Spd, -Atk)
- Ice Beam
- Surf
- Thunderbolt
- Trick

To get the most out of my type coverage on this team, I knew I needed a special attacker besides Heatran. Originally this role was filled by Latias, but then I realized that she wasn't really doing anything Heatran couldn't. I decided that this slot would be best filled by a boltbeamer with either very good speed or high defenses. Rotom-F was something I considered but ultimately turned down because of Blizzard's downright pathetic accuracy. In what some would call the random choice method, I decided to pick Starmie since it not only has good coverage and good attack, but also great speed, enough to catch up to anything I might have speed concerns about, especially with Scarf. Choosing Scarf over say Life Orb may seem odd to a lot of people, but trust me when I say it has proved very effective. Trick is also particularly good on this set since it can let me shut down Blisseys and slower Swords Dancers and effectively allow Starmie to serve as a phazer as well as a revenge killer. Part of me wishes it knew Rapid Spin, but nothing on this team takes more than neutral damage from it anyway.

bling bling (Scizor) (F) @ Leftovers
Ability: Technician
EVs: 200 HP/252 Atk/56 Spd
Adamant nature (+Atk, -SAtk)
- Brick Break
- Bullet Punch
- Roost
- Swords Dance

You've all seen this before. Brick Break over Superpower because I hate my attack getting lowered after I just raised it and lowering defense on something that's supposed to be bulkier than the average Scizor doesn't seem smart. And yes, I have destroyed reflects with this (and by that I mean I've destroyed a reflect with this). The only think i don't like about this specific build is it's speed. Obviously Bullet Punch negates this, but if I ever have to use Brick Break I can get screwed pretty easily.

burn baby burn (Heatran) (M) @ Choice Scarf
Ability: Flash Fire
EVs: 4 Atk/252 Spd/252 SAtk
Naive nature (+Spd, -SDef)
- Dragon Pulse
- Earth Power
- Explosion
- Flamethrower

You've all seen this before too. I like Dragon Pulse over Hidden Power because it's better at killing dragons and does neutral damage to everything that's not Steel.

Alby (Flygon) (M) @ Leftovers
Ability: Levitate
EVs: 248 HP/176 Def/4 Spd/80 SDef
Timid nature (+Spd, -Atk)
- Earthquake
- Flamethrower
- Roost
- Toxic

In the marmalade forest (forest)
Beneath the make-believe trees
In a cottage cheese cottage
Lives Alby (Alby)
Alby (Alby)
Alby the Racist Dragon

Same build of Flygon as in another team. You can find commentary on it here:

This was kind of a default as I needed something defensive that didn't exacerbate any existing weaknesses. Obviously this meany I had to add new weaknesses, but I have 2 steel types resistant to both dragon and ice and Starmie who is resistant to Ice and can revenge kill dragons which makes up for it. Flygon is also solid since its stealth rock damage can be immediately recovered by Leftovers, it can't be paralyzed by Thunder Wave, and it floats over Spikes and Toxic Spikes, which the others in the team, unfortunately, don't. All in all, Flygon is as good on this team as he is on my other one, and I may make him a staple in my teams at this rate lol.

So far my biggest problem with this team is Jirachi, but even he's not that big a deal. When I lose it's mostly just because I made a dumb play or over/under predicted.

Discuss.

I noticed in your other thread that you said Earthquake hits harder than Timid. This is ONLY true against Pokemon with equal defense and special defense. Earth Power hits Hippowdon much harder than Earthquake, for example. Earth Power isn't necessarily better, of course, it depends on the team.

Why use Flygon instead of Gliscor, who has superior defenses and Taunt? To be honest, I'm not sure what your Flygon is actually doing for your team besides absorbing Thunder Wave, which is something Gliscor is pretty good at.

Gliscor does have better defenses, but Flygon has better typing. With both I have to think about an ice weakness which I am more than prepared for, but with Gliscor I also have a water weakness which I am not as prepared for. The only pokemon on my team who can take a water attack is Starmie since everything else takes neutral damage or worse. Flygon's dragon weakness, however, is resisted by Scizor and Heatran, who are both checks against dragons, and in a worst case scenario I can revenge kill with Starmie. Flygon also takes half damage from fire which is good if my opponent tries to send in a Heatran against my Scizor. Gliscor doesn't offer quite the same level of coverage since the only notable resistance it has is to fighting, which Starmie also resists and is probably a better answer to. Gliscor also wouldn't be able to function the same way as Flygon since if I put Taunt, Roost, and Toxic on it I'll only have room for one more attack. Still, I like Gliscor and being able to pseudo-counter sandstorm is good, so I'll consider it.

Against Hippowdon I use Toxic and then either switch out to Starmie or stall.
