These videos are from yesterday, August 10th. Please forgive bits and pieces of the video quality, which randomly speed up/ slow down for reasons beyond me.

Not bad. You need to play a little smarter when it comes to approaching. I noticed you dashing in and getting hit multiple times.

Also, perfect those throw combos! I saw you dthrow the Charizard at like 0% and he escaped. You can simply grab again at that percentage, follow up with fsmash or fair to regrab, dthrow again, up smash, up air to up b. That's the combo I churn out all the time anyway. ;p

Also, that Pokemon Trainer had an impressive Ivysaur, lol.

Pretty good stuff I saw. tips-I'd work on your speed a little, like making sure you shuffle your aerials and crud. I saw often where you full jumped a slow attack that was too readable. Like awex said, you seemed to have a little troubled when you dash in. Don't use dash attack as an approach, ever. Only use it when you're punishing a landing opponent and you'd like to combo from it. Otherwise, pivot canceled fsmashes, pivot grabs, and shieldgrabs work well. SHnair is something you didn't use very much.(if at all) It's a good setup. Umm... your grab combos weren't very existant. The PT DIed well, but you need to try and punish the airdodges. If he's never going to retaliate, just run and grab the airdodge over and over until he mixes it up some. That's when you go for another SHfair, upair or nair to begin comboing.

Good Olimar still. keep it up!

And yeh, that ivysaur was pretty good. lol

After reading what you guys have said and going back and watching the vids, I agree with everything whole heartedly. I never realized I actually used the dash attack as much as i did, I'm gonna try to cut back on it. yup, I need to work on those Dthrow combos... I'm pretty good at actually getting them in a grab, but my Dthrow combos pretty much suck.

And yes, Typh ROCKS the PT lol. One of his biggest goals is to skyrocket PT out of low/bottom tier. He can DI almost flawlessly, he knows the physics of smash really well.

You play a great Olimar RichBrown. Credits to your friend as well-He plays a good PT too.

If I might suggest something...I noticed that sometimes when you grabbed your opponent, they broke free. I think this is because you hesistated slightly. Perhaps the following might help. It works with me...

0%-35%-Don't press A at all!
35%-60%-Press A once, then throw. You have to do it quickly.
60%-85%-Press A twice, then throw.
85%-120%-Press A three times, then throw.
120%-200%-Up to you really.

dsmash is a pretty good move and there was a lot of opportunities where you could of used it.

i beat typh's PT :3 hehe

his IC's are more of a ***** to play though, but GnW fared well

good job, but you need to work on your approaches. be less predictable and change your mind games up a little bit. i saw you doing the same thing quite often.

also, i saw little to no pivot grabs from you, mr. "pivot grab moar!!! >:D"

lol, i did pivot grab here and there. you just werent looking

for real though, I actually don't use the pivot grab much against toon link, definitely more on squirtle though. I swear to you I do use it a lot

haha, im down for some nolimar dittos. pikmin suck. and negrolimar is awesome. Still not 100% sure if I'm going, gotta see if i can knock out most of my priorities before saturday so i can feel minimally guilty about devoting a day to smash haha.

Haha that sucks. I don't start CSUN until the 25th, so I'm squeezing in the last bit of smash I can. I'll probably still go to tournaments, but much less often. Doesn't help that I live an hour away from where the closest tournaments are held and that I basically have to commit an entire day to a tournament if I wanna go.

Nice vid i only saw the last one im too lazy to see the first one XD. Nothing to say but try doing some of olimar's tilts you could create combos with them. And Dsmash is a good move just dont over used it lol

That's because most of the time your friend was able to Air Dodge your Dthrow-Fair combos. Make him think you are going to jump and use and Fair so he Air Dodges, but you stay on the ground and punish him for trying to punish you!
