7-28-07, 12pm pacific.
Registration is open and caps at 64 competitors, registration remains open until tournament day, it closes right at 11am when brackets are made. This tournament will be a minimum of 5 hours.
This tournament will be held in the new Pokemon Nation chat room, so go get accustomed to it! It will be locked for members only during this tournament.
Tournament Rules
-Battles are preferably played on PBR. If you are a known member from here or another community exceptions to play on D/P can be made.
-6vs6 Single battle
-Max Lvl 50 (automatic level)
-Double Elimination will be in effect
-Sleep Clause on. Those who break the rule during a match will take that match as a loss.
-Item Clause off: You may use more than one of the same item
-Species Clause on: No more than one of the same pokemon on the team
-No last pokemon self-destruction or destiny bond
-You may not change your pokemon between tournament rounds. You must use the same team of 6 through the entire tournament.
-There will be a 25 minute time limit for everyone to get to their assigned match once the pairings are announced. If there is no response within that time, the unresponsive competitor will be disqualified.
-Once you start your match PM one of the directors/mods and a timer will be started for a 90 minute time limit.
-All disconnects will end up being judged by the Pokemon Nation panel in private in the fairest manner possible. They will do their best to choose a justified and unbiased decision. The judges will never reveal your Pokemon to other competitors during the tournament.
-The use of ANY cheating devices such as Action Replay or Gameshark to alter your Pokemon in ANY WAY is prohibited. Players who are caught with cheated Pokemon will be disqualified from the tournament immediately, no discussions or questions asked. Please let's keep this a fair tournament.
-Shark watch rule, if there is abnormal damage going on, you may alert a judge of the situation, your match timer will be paused and the damage will be put into a calculator. If there is a reported problem during the tournament that may involve possible hacked Pokemon with the reported data, one of our tournament judges may check your Pokemon at any time for legitimacy, through just looking at them in the trade window. If you fail to comply, you will be disqualified.
-Both finalists will have their 6 Pokemon team checked for legitimate stats.
-When you lose be a good sport and do not reveal your opponents team or strategy publically without permission. This offense will possibly ban you from our future tournaments.

With 32 players+ 1st place may choose a skin for their Wii or DS from

With 16 players+ 1st place may choose 6 shinies of their choice from a list of over 30 (all legit), with 6 items of their choice.
