Reminder: Dreamhack Winter 2016 to Boast a $30,000 Prize Pool for Singles

If you didn't see the announcement earlier this year, now is the time to know. Dreamhack, the world's largest LAN party, will be hosting another iteration of the Super Smash Bros. Melee Dreamhack Smash Championship at this year's DreamHack Winter. Happening on November 24 - 27 in Jönköping, Sweden, the tournament will be boasting a prize pool of $30,000 for singles, one of the largest pot bonuses in Melee history.


Dreamhack Winter 2016 will be the sixth-ever Dreamhack event to feature Melee. Multiple top players have already confirmed their attendance, one of which being the defending Dreamhack Winter champion, Juan "TL | Hungrybox" Debiedma.

Registrations for the tournament can be found on Dreamhack's official website. In order to be eligible to join the tournament, a pass for the overall event is required, which one can get from their ticketing website.
