eDelaying the game more than december would be some nasty thing.

They could make sooo much money on holydays is insane to delay it a little... unless there is a big and important development to be done.

MY THEORY is that since we all know that they are facing some difficulties in supplying wiis to the world... they will focus all their stocks to supply north america.... and then sell it in japan.... They maybe know that the japanese market have been won long time ago... and they want to focus all their force on USA and amrica.... and then sell in japan...which will sell a lot anywyas!

I have to say this: THEY ARE NOT DELAYING THIS GAME. They just aren't. Not yet. People are overreacting to a simple change to one text on a site. It could be a bug on the site, or it could be them being safe by not being open about it. But until they make a formal statement, I wouldn't get my hopes down.

Yeah, they did that with the Metroid Prime 3 site. I went on there launch day and they hadn't changed a thing.

Well, if they already announced a release date in Japan, then it's pretty much set in stone that Nintendo will release the game in North America either after or on the same day.

i got this from the site "Players: To be determined" i mean WTF?, so i think it still might be delayed

I would cry so hard if they made me wait till after december...its too muh to bear...the only thing that would make it worth while is if they ended up making it so all the characters i want in are in.
megaman, ridley, animal crosser, ray01, isaac, king dedede, and NOT geno.

ugh, i can't put up with them pushing it back, i really hope it stays Dec 3. This has been a really hard semester trying to learn everything about Maya, and the driving force for me has been knowing that right at the end of the semester, brawl would come out, then i could relax for a solid month during christmas break with no huge projects, and just enjoy the game. if they delay it until after xmas break, not only will i not be able to enjoy it for a solid month uninterruppted, but then i wouldn't have it until next semester starts and i'd have so much work again that would prevent me from playin and much as i want

They officically announced Europe and Japan will be getting the game in 2008, and then proceeded to edit the text on the USA website. Why wouldn't you believe that there will be some sort of date change? I think it's time to face the facts: we're going to see a delay :urg:

One Word: Chirstmas. It would be disasterous if they held it back. Japan can afford to hold it back, but I don't think the release date will be pushed farther than late December.

They opted to not delay Melee, and you know what we got for it? Clones.

OMG in higher lvl smash there are no clones, Falco and Fox are totally diffrent, so are Falcon and Gannondorf, and so are Roy and Marth. The only characters that are too similar is the Doc and Mario but in my opinion thats it. I actually rather have clones and lots of characters than a few original ones, there will be clones and yall will have to deal with it.

Topic creator, just accept the fact that Brawl is delayed. If it wasn't, they won't changed the date from December to be developed. It's common sense.

if it is delayed i will understand.... but i will cry.... and a part of me will die.... and.... wait.... if its delayed then that will give me enough time to save up and pre-order it so i can get it the day it comes out! (but i could do that any way.... and i won't get to....)

You are on drugs if you think US will get SSBB almost 2 months before Japan.

Stop spamming this, manfairy. It can't be true--the game is being made in Japanese. Even though localization time isn't huge for this kind of game, it does exist. And it makes no sense to withhold if from Japan while they're translating it for America. And the DOJO was changed from Dec 3 to TBD. We know this. If it were staying the same, why alter it?

You must be new here. Nintendo delays games. Miyamoto even has a saying about it. Never believe a release date until you have the game in your hands.

For my part, I thought Dec 3 was too early. I still think January is too early.

_____People are going crazy on this forum. I know you all are mad because they said a date and appear to be changing it, it sucks, it made me a little mad at first. Really though, is any of this changing it, and what if To Be Determined really means.. To Be Determined.

Honestly, maybe something is going on and they might get a slightly different date, I really doubt it is going to make a difference in any of your breaks.

Good luck though, I hope all your plans work out, I myself had told my dad and homeroom teacher I was going to have a fever on December 3rd.

Im not too mad at the delay. Im fine with them taking there time and getting the game right. I have a lot of other games to play anyways.
