Trying to record melee with my dvdr but failing.

How can I do this without playing through the dvdr itself with heaps of lag?

Is it something like

Wii --> TV (AV1 input)

DVDR --> TV (AV1 output)

Hit record on DVDr...? Or something...?

Pretty sure that should work, maybe just try recording it for 2 minutes and give it a test run.

But then again i suck with technology =<

Just in case you missed it Sam

That sounds right. Although if you're playing through the DVDR, it seems like you have the input and output mixed up. Hm... Do you have a manual for the DVDR? That'd be the best place to look up.

Yeah haven't tried that method out yet but I figured it would be nice to get some opinions before I mess around with cables etc that I cbf returning to their original places when I fail.
