Really quick question about wii save slots

Hey, I play melee on wii but I don't have a memorey card atm. Is there any way to load the GC save files from Wii's memory, in other words play melee with savings without the memory card?
For example, using an sd card to do this?

gamecube doesnt read the SD card so no..better place to ask would be wiibrew forums

The Wii goes into GameCube mode where a lot of things shut off, including USB ports and the SD card port. (Otherwise we'd be seeing Gamecube games being loaded off of the SD card!)

Unless some miracle happens, it's impossible, even looking at it hardware-wise.
