Realistic (i hope) roster

My roster would actually be like this

Mario series:
Mario
Peach
Luigi
Bowser
Geno or Paper Mario (we need somebody to represent the mario RPGs)
Bowser Jr

Vaati (i was actually thinking tingle but his recent appearence in the trophy uptate kind of lowered his chances)

Pokemon series:
Pikachu

Jigglypuff (he his the first unlockable since the first ssb so why put him out?)
Meowth (that's right! he would be the antogonist of the pokemon series + it would be easy to make him a moveset)
Lucario (After all, we need to represent the newest generation)
Mewtwo

Ness or Lucas (we only need to represent one of the mother games)

Falco or Wolf (we don't need 2 luigified clones)

Geno>PM and Megaman>Pac-Man, just so ya know, and Lucario=AWESOME LIST!!...Lucario gets you a 10/10...of course, this is also because I like your other ideas...having Waluigi would've earned you a 5/10:p

Well, it looks great... except I don't agree with the whole Mother thing. Mainly cause that's the best thing Nintendo has going for it story-wise.

And you don't have Dixie! My gosh. lol.

No i actually don't think mewtwo is more important than meowth, sure he had his movie and all but he kind of disappeared folowing the second generation, he his also one of the only pokemon that can express itself but so is meowth. I personnaly think that mewtwo should be in before Lucario but it does'nt seem to happen.
At first Mewtwo was considered endangered by a new possible newcomer that would have took his place as the psychic lengendary pokemon, deoxys, but deoxys was confirmed as a pokeball, now the only pokemon that could take Mewtwo's place away is Gardevoir since they would have nearly identical moveset. If Gardevoir is confirmed as not being playable, Mewtwo rises as the only playable psychic pokemon and he is praticly sure of being in. But not until gardevoir is puted away

Pokey could be playable in his weird bio-mechanical spider thing and it could make him an heavy weight character

Wait...he doesn't have Olimar? Okay then, 9/10 (what...Waluigi and Pichu are absent and Lucario's there...I'm happy:p). And what's the point of Muddymole? Jus' sayin'

I mean i think that the pokemon that are in are anime-popularity based and that mewtwo dind't reappeared since his last film in wich he was a protagonist

Uhh... I'm sorry, but he just wouldn't fit at all playable, I honestly would appreciate if Sakurai made him a boss instead of filling up a playable character spot.

so that would mean that the pikmin thing, dr stewart, slippy and ooccoo trophys are crazy hints that they are playable?!?

I reckon you've got one of the best rosters I have seen so far from these boards actually.

It's a very accurate list too in my view.

Though I would of gone for Miciah replacing Sigurd for the last FE rep. Fewer people know who Sigurd is. Bringing in FE was risk last time, but i'm sure there were a good percentage that at least knew what Fire Emblem or at least knew who Marth was.

I didn't know who Marth was but I did hear about FE a few months before I even knew about Smash Bros. Melee cause I was hugely into Advance Wars at the time, and my friend told me to try and get a copy of a FE game, cause they're even better.

I have to fall back on a few suggestions though....
Paper Mario/Geno selection. I don't see another Mario coming in. Geno is getting to be a tough call now. I'm starting to think he'll be a sacrifice. Someone else taking his spot at the last second.
