Forretress@Leftovers
Impish
252 Hp/ 252 Def

Stealth Rock
Toxic Spike
Gyro Ball/Earthquake
Explosion

Spike/SR layer, as well as a great physical wall. Gryro Ball/Earthquake if it has to attack and Explosion once it's hp is low. Fantastic typing as the only thing he fears is teh phire.

Metagross@Leftovers/Ground Reducing Berry
Adamant
252 HP/ 252 Atk

Agility
Meteor Mash
Earthquake
Thunderpunch

Agiligross. Agility should make it faster than anything that isn't scarfed. Hp Ev's to make it sturdy enough to get the agility off. I don't know what the ground reducing berry is called but I think I might use it over lefties.

Cresselia@Leftovers

Calm
252 Hp/ 128 Def/ 128 SpDef

Calm Mind
Ice Beam
Charge Beam
Moonlight

Overall wall, though more special than physical. Calm mind helps her already great SpDef even better and helps out her attacks. Charge Beam, Ice Beam to actually attack. I have Charge Beam over the standard TWave because the opponents poke should be poisoned from Toxic Spikes already.

Azumarril@Leftovers
Adamant
Huge Power
252 Hp/ 252 Attack

Waterfall
Aqua Jet
Ice Punch
Body Slam/Return/ Focus Punch

Physical Sweeper. Waterfall for stab, aqua jet to make up for poor speed, and Ice Punch for type coverage. I don't know what to put for the last attack.

Sceptile@Life Orb
Modest
252 Sp Atk/ 252 Speed

Energy Ball
Dragon Pulse
Focus Blast
Frenzy Plant

He has poor defenses and grass is weak to alot, so I don't mind the life orb taking his Hp. Energy Ball for stab, Dragon Pulse to hit everything, Focus Blast can be usefull once in a while, Frenzy Plant as a last attack before he dies.

Salamence@Choice Specs
Modest
252 Speed/ 252 Sp Atk

Dragon Pulse
Draco Meteor
Hydro Pump
Fire Blast

It's SpecMence. You've probably seen/used it/ faced it atleast once. I don't feel like explaining something so well known, so I won't.

If it's using Gyro Ball, it should be Relaxed.

Metagross@Leftovers/Ground Reducing Berry Shuca Berry

Thunderpunch

Agiligross. Agility should make it faster than anything that isn't scarfed. Hp Ev's to make it sturdy enough to get the agility off. I don't know what the ground reducing berry is called but I think I might use it over lefties.

It should have 104 EVS, so it hits 202 Speed. That way, after one Agility, it hits 404 Speed, outspeeding CSHeracross. You may want to put in 112 Speed EVs, however. That way, after an Agility, you hit 406, thus outspeeding all the Pokemon reaching for 405.

Cresselia@Leftovers

Calm
252 Hp/ 128 Def/ 128 SpDef

This should have more Defense EVs. You may want to forgo Charge Beam for Thunder Wave.

Azumarril@Leftovers

This would work so much better with Choice Band. >_> Just ask Articanus.

I see a Choice Scarf Heatran giving this team trouble.

First of all, half of your team is weak to Overheat. (Forretress, Metagross, and Sceptile)

Heatran can switch into predicted Flamethrowers from your Salamence. Your Salamence will take 78.92% - 92.77% from a Dragon Pulse. In return, a Draco Meteor will do 49.69% - 58.33% to Heatran.

Azumarill will take 50.50% - 59.41% from Hidden Power Electric. Heatran will only take 36.42% - 42.90% from Aqua Jet, meaning Heatran can easily come in and 2HKO your Azumarill while only being 3HKOed at most. Of course, the Heatran might think Azumarill is Choice Banded, so it wouldn't stay in, until the opponent sees you changing moves.

Overheat will do 56.31% - 66.22% to Cresselia, meaning it is 2HKOed.

Until wii meet again,

Think about using a Zap Cannon, SR, Toxic Spikes, and Rapid Spin support set. It helps for switch-ins wanting to take the physical hit(Skarmory/ Gyarados, whom takes the hit pretty **** hard!)

Maybe use the Fire reducing berry to compensate for the Fire weakness on this team.

This is sorta weird.
Sandstream currently dominates the entire metagame, especially with everyone going with stall teams. Make it a Sleep Talking one with Ice Beam and Charge Beam, and give it max sp. defense to compensate for your Heatran weakness.

Choice Band 248 HP 4 Defense 4 Sp. Defense, Ice Punch and Aqua jet are illegal, use Double- Edge and Focus punch for the last move.

Please no Frenzy Plant. Use Focus Punch over Focus Blast to hit Blissey: in fact, you may want to overgo that move for Leech Seed to fix the HP you'll be losing. Use a Timid(or Hasty) nature, and replace Frenzy plant with Hidden Power Fire.

Ok, I have taken the advice you guys have given me, and also made a couple switches. How do you think the team is now?

Forretress@Leftovers
Bold/Relaxed
252 Hp/ 252 Def

Stealth Rock
Toxic Spike
Zap Cannon
Rapid Spin

ss118 recommended this ms, and I like it. I really like uncommon movesets,so this fits my playing style well. I can't decide whether to use Bold or Relaxed nature, so maybe you guys could help me out there.

Metagross@Occa Berry
Adamant
112 Speed/ 252 Atk/ 144 Hp

Agility
Meteor Mash
Earthquake
Thunderpunch

I changed the EV's and held item.

Cresselia@Leftovers

Calm
252 Hp/ 252 SpDef/ 4 Def

Rest
Sleep Talk
Ice Beam
Charge Beam

I like this set, and changed the EV's to make it more Special Wall than mixed wall.

Gyarados@Leftovers
Adamant
252 Atk/ 184 Speed/ 72 Hp

Dragon Dance
EQ
Waterfall
Stone Edge

EV spread gives it enough speed after DD to outrun Starmie and Gengar.

Azelf@Focus Sash/Life Orb
Timid
252 Sp Atk/ 252 Speed

Nasty Plot
Psychic
Flamethrower
Grass Knot/ Hp Water

I need some help with this guys EV's and his last move.

Salamence@Choice Specs
Modest
252 Speed/ 252 Sp Atk

Dragon Pulse
Draco Meteor
Hydro Pump

k one sec, you said forretress fears fire, and he does, so why not EV him more to the Sp.Def and round out his wall capabilities?, Fire is mostly special, so i can see something like an infernape sweeping it easily. Your party's good in my eyes though, good job. :ohwell: at ubers though
Choice Spec Salamence ftw!!!!

I think this team needs Forretress to be a supporter/physical wall. If a fire poke such as Infernape came out, I would switch to Gyarados or possibly Salamence. Also, I think you meant legendaries, not ubers.

All in all, I think this is a good team.;) If you play by item clause though, figure something out for those three Pokes with Leftovers.

Thanks for the positive feedback Creo. :) Forretress seems to be the one that is giving me the most trouble. It could be used in alot of different ways. Thunderpunch isn't a typo for Metagross, he can learn it from Emerald. Unfortunately, Cresselia doesn't learn Tbolt, otherwise I would use it over charge beam. And finally, I guess I'll just only battle people who don't use item clause.

true. usually i hate switching pokemon. it makes me paranoid and usually I have really bad luck with it.
And yeh my bad, legendaries.:)
good party though, i dont doubt you could prolly beat me with this party.

but i got a box full of shinies i get to gloat about. yay for self-absorbdedness!

Leftovers is probably going to be better than Occa Berry in most cases. The only thing Occa Berry would be good for is using Agility while surviving a SpecMence's Flamethrower, but it's not a even sure survival, especially if you've switched Stealth Rocks even once, since with the berry, the FT will still do 89.47% - 105.22%.

These Gyarados are the scariest kind. :[ Not nearly as sturdy as standard bulkyDos, but it's evil when people switch in a weakened Starmie to take this thing out only to get EQed to the face.

Don't need that much speed. Most people just have enough to outrun +Spd base base 110s (Gengar, Jumpluff, Tauros, Espeon and friends), which would be 220 Spd EVs. Put the rest in HP. If that HP [Water] is meant to counter Houndoom, don't. HP [Fighting] is a much better option, as it'll OHKO Weavile for sure and dent Tyranitar a lot more (Flamethrower without Life Orb or a Nasty Plot can't OHKO Weavile: 82.62% - 97.16%)

Sp Def on Forretress is a waste of EVs, since no amount of SpDef EVs is going to help him survive a Flamethrower, so pump the other defense to wall the other side and switch to something that can sponge special attacks when a special attacker comes.

Thunderpunch? I didn't know he learned that...or is it a typo? Other then that, it's good.

Metagross gets ThunderPunch from tutors in Emerald and Cresselia doesn't learn Thunderbolt.

Thanks outofdashdwz, that's a pretty helpful post. Like I said in a previous post, Forretress is giving me the most problems. If i were to use Gyro ball and EQ, it would be relaxed nature. If I were to use Zap cannon, it would be bold nature. Thanks for the advice on Azelf and Metagross.

When you said "That much SpDef is seriously overkill", I'm not sure if you meant that in a good way or a bad way.If you meant it in a bad way, what should I use instead?

np. I meant that I think Cresselia could get by with less SpDef, but now that I look at it, especially after running a few calculations, your high SpDef is perfectly fine, as even with that much, SpecsHeatran's Overheat still does 51.58% - 60.59% and SpecsMence's Meteors still does 45.95% - 54.05%. Since Cresselia's your only special wall, just keep it like that. Just be more careful with Pursuit, since it'll hurt quite a bit without Bold and defense EVs.
