My team is a bit cliche because I do check out serebii and other sties involving builds a lot. I will gladly take any criticism and/or suggestions. I am not that good at competitive battling. But i do enjoy the game. Rate my team thanx.

STARAPTOR @ Life Orb

GARCHOMP @ Choice Band

Choicechomp. Outrage is good. Rest are fillers.

MACHAMP @ Expert Belt
No Guard
Adamant
EV's: 38 HP / 252 Attack / 220 Speed

Earthquake
DynamicPunch
Bulk Up
ThunderPunch

Counters Blissey and Snorlax. I needed speed of at least 200 to outrace some pokemon.

SLOWBRO @ Leftovers
Own Tempo
Bold
EV's: 212 HP / 252 Def / 46 SAtk

Calm Mind
Slack Off
Surf

ARMALDO @ Leftovers

Relaxed
EV's: 200 HP / 48 Attack / 176 Def / 86 SDef

ite thanx for the feedback.

@ frenchfri, i taught my staraptor whirlwind because my friend always leads with ninjask to baton pass so i try to counter that. return is a good move to use though. i might consider replacing that in for something.

@ teeman92. D/P pokemon are cool. haha.

i like ur party but how are you able to keep track of ur EV's? do you write it down on paper or is there something that lets u keep track

in my opinion, i would have all my pokemon learn moves that deal damage, have good base power, and have 100 accuracy. Dont change anything unless you feel like you really have to.

Actually Starly + a Power Anklet gives you 2 EVs + the pokerus= 4 EVs. Really I just pokeradar the same pokemon from level 20-50 and I just wait until its sats go back to normal.

i thought the power braces added +4.

http://www.gamefaqs.com/portable/ds/file/925602/48647

unless this girl was wrong..".I haven't gotten as far as fighting in the Tower (My team still needs
work) but what these items do is when you finish a fight they will add 4 EVs
to a certain stat along with your normal EVs."

ive EV trained using the power braces, and i seem to always get somewhere near the 510 mark everytime i think im finished with EV training...macho brace doubled the standard 1 point. with pokerus, gave you 4.

"Although with the introduction of the Power items (Power Anklet, Power Belt, etc.) the Macho Brace has essentially become obsolete, since it can only ever provide, at most, an extra 3 EVs at a time, where a Power item will always guarantee at least an extra 4 for each battle. 8 with Pokérus."

im researching about these...and this is what i came up with most of the time. the power items add an additional 4. the only negative side is that they only add the bonuses when against the appropriate pokemon (that gave EVs in the specific area), while macho brace only double to any stat.

im getting really confused here...can anyone else confirm about this?

The Power items convert all of your EVs into that particular stat, whilst the Macho Brace doubles your EV intake.
now im hearing different things....

my understanding is that the power items give 4 EVs to a particular stat and is useless if i dont fight a pokemon that gave EVs to that particular stat.

ilovecelebi says that everything just doubles the EV gain.

zook says that the power items convert all my EVs into that particular stat.

im really worried that i may have completely dont my EV training wrong (even when my garchomp has near max speed). lol somebody help haha. and yes starmie can kill me. i was thinking of using electivire.
