Not bad, good edgeguarding w/ the shine, although he was recovering predictably. It's tough to say what to work on from that vid. You didn't really do much, there weren't throw combos or tech chasing, it was against falco, so you can't really do a whole bunch of fast moving. Looks alright though.

good job against that falco.I guess you could spam more lasers from a distance to help with long range.

Its good, however, your wavedashing is off, you need to do it betterly angled (sorry, bad grammar) but even at the first of the first video, I can tell you need to angle farther so you get past or away from his grabs. You also need to practice on shfflc because it will improve your game, The key is to apply pressure ^.^

I only got to see the first video. Most of things you need to work on are technical stuff such as short hopping more, JC grabs, and wavedashing. I noticed that you missed the wavedash twice during the first video. Learn other things too such as drillshining and since you're up against a Falco, chaingrab more.

Ok, that's a much easier match to help you improve with. You seem to edgeguard very aggressively, tone it down a bunch, it doesn't work like that against most people, your friend recovers very passively and predictably. You don't always need to shine spike, trying frequently usually ends in you getting gimped more than them. Also, there were no shine combos, waveshines work wonders against sheik, waveshine>usmash, waveshine>drillshine, waveshine>jc grab, waveshine>waveshine, use these more. a lot more. On larger stages, you're going to want to shl / shdl a bunch more. be glad that sheik doesn't use needle cancels / needle grabs. makes it harder to fight.

This is in regards to the new vid. Don't always go for a shine spike. A normal edgehog would do the exact same thing. I also saw once that you did a drillshine but just left it at that. Next that happens, waveshine and follow it up with one of the things that Scotu mentioned. Also laser some more whenever you get the chance and shfflc into a shine a bit more. You'll just get shield-grabbed if you don't follow it into a shine. You're getting better though so good job on that. Hope this helped.

Another quick thing... While this is very "nit-picky," make sure that you don't miss techs. Against a competent Sheik player you missing a tech means you getting combo'd all the hell which then means a lost stock. No good... :( But yeah, I'm always a fan of aggressive edge-guarding as long as it is controlled edge guarding and you don't leave yourself wide open for a cheap kill from your opponent. Otherwise looks good. ^_^b

i notice the directly above a lot too. its funny how creating the illusion of speed actually helps you play faster.
