Don't take it personally.

You made a mistake by:
Up tilting repeatedly for 10 seconds
Using SHL awkwardly or uncomfortably (kinda hard not to tho on FoD)
Rolling more than once in a row
Using F-Smash reliantly
FALCON PUNCH
Jumping below the edge to attack an opponent on the stage
Edge Jump into death

I didn't watch the 2nd video over half way cause my eyes started to hurt =O. Anyways, it seems you know how to play falco, it just doesn't look like you're very comfortable with him. Practice!

Up tilting repeatedly for 10 seconds - i was trying to experiment with it...i'm aware i can't do that irmatches but i'm not good at tilting after shl/shffls so i figured if i learn it as a regular move first XD

Using SHL awkwardly or uncomfortably (kinda hard not to tho on FoD) - i actually end up using SHL a lot better in the third vid. if i knew the stage better i would prolly be able to shl more consistently

Rolling more than once in a row - this i don't have much to say to, it's hard to dodge against a cf + the fact that the platforms like to fsck around with me

Using F-Smash reliantly - ftilt would've been raptored, dsmash i could've done, usmash is stupid in FoD, dtilt only hits front, utilt doesn't have the range for when i fsmashed, shffl uair is not the right move for fsmash situations, shfflfair kills me in fsmash situations, shffl nair would leave me on platforms, shffl dair would've been alright. actually i didn't use fsmash that much once i looked at it again

FALCON PUNCH - yeah, the falcon punch thing....i forgot to input a dair XDD

Jumping below the edge to attack an opponent on the stage - alright, that's my mistake definitely XD

Edge Jump into death - hey it was only that last one >>

thanks for the crit :D

Your Falco's not really bad... It's pretty rough around the edges, but you've got the basic idea, and will improve steadily if you keep playing him.

You're approaching with too many n-airs, and you're not l-cancelling any of your aerials. This is bad. Learn to l-cancel and work on approaching with d-airs. (n-air is good, but d-air is good too.)

Your SHL is not that bad. Sometimes you don't fast fall it, though.

Spamming u-tilt can be viable in some situations... When the CF was stuck on the platform, for example, it was fine. Other times, though, you used it poorly.

You do roll way too much. Dodging a CF is no more difficult than dodging any other aggressive player. Learn to be more mobile. You dash around too much. Jump more.

All in all, your Falco lacks fluidity. Keep practicing, it will come.

thanks XD
was looking out for you and scotu's crits, actually
i'm lcancelling, really...just not evident when i get grabbed all teh time. but yeah, i see sometimes when i'm not lcancelling. the dairs are always a stickler for me because i'm a bit nervous about it
dair...i posted in the shiz thread about that XD always get grabbed when i do it against shields. other times i'm just afraid but yeah, i get what you mean
yeah, i notice i don't ff the shls sometimes...these vids are actually some of the not so good ones of my shl XDDDD
rolling way too much...hm, i'll keep that in mind. i'll hopefully get to play psi again soon. jumping = fear of knee, but i could always put out an aerial so thanks for the advice
practicing is going to get better yeah...gonna teach my best girl-friend (notice the hyphen) how to do adv techs and just tell her about general stuff w/ Fox/CF/marth (even if those three are my bane)
but thanks mrbitter, i was looking out for your advice. i'll definitely have more vids to show, especially of my much better falco ****z. meanwhile look at the other bad vids of me in his profile and listen to the funny crap we have to say (look at match three and start listening using headphones, you'll hear some funny stuffs about american football imo)

Against CF: Captain Falcon mainly just wants to get a grab/ punish you. The idea is to try to avoid making yourself open to him. Captain Falcon can punish very quickly after a missed attack, so try to follow up missed aerials w/ jabs, ftilts, or even another quick nair if you can. Also, rolling sets you up for a raptor boosts. The raptor boost is like many projectiles, in that if you roll way, you'll be hit, but if you roll towards, you can avoid it (not always the best though...). Just shield the boost (shield smash often sets up for good combos on CF.
Against Fox: That match was full of lose, sorry. Some Up-Down combos would be nice. You got edgeguarded hard by the fsmash (a trick i like to use a lot because it WORKS) the only way to really avoid it is to go higher, or firebird (not great choices, but sh*t happens, deal w/ it). Note that you don't have to follow up utilts with more utilts, they lead into shines or fsmashes.
Against CF2: Sweetspot the edge w/ the phantasm better. If you shffl an aerial and miss, and expect a boost, fsmash (don't do it too much though).
Mario: laser more. If he uses the up-b from below you, use the air dodge down>**** combo. Jump out of your shines more.

Overall, you need to use more up-down combos (shine>dair>repeat). Try to SHL more/ faster, and learn the retreating rshl.

Hope this helps.

fox one i knew i was going to lose, i've played his fox more than once unrecorded....too much for me x_x. But yeah, i need to learn to play against good foxes on stages i'm not comfy with. actually i haven't unlocked kongo jungle in my version b/c i'm not bothered to sit for 15 minutes lmao

cf i knew you could help me with...thanks for the advice. up-down is something i'm a bit uncomfortable with on platforms, but i'll try and practice that as much as i can during matches seeing as i don't have a gc with me on vacation. also, is there any way i can dodge better? and is there a way to counter the boost better or do i just need to shieldgrab or use shieldcancelled dairs?

edit: i can do the rshl/retreating rshl but i'm not fully versed in changing shl height fast so 's probably why i don't use it. i'll try though? i played some matches on fd where i used it

on dodging: yes. Don't roll so much. spot dodging is better, but the boost might catch you anyway. if you see a boost coming, try to dsmash/ fsmash or just shield.
