Alright, to start you off on the right track, Dash Dance a lot more.
Jump around w/ lasers a bunch
and cancel your shines w/ jumps / wavedashes.

Shffling, pulsewalking, and wavelanding will soon make it into you're game after the above things.

I don't really knw why i'm talking like it's your fox, cause it's not. just pretend i'm talking directly to you're doubles partner.

Yeah, I have that problem too. I have to be talking like it's your Fox or it throws me off.

Anyways, don't roll as much, wavedash instead. SHL more and don't always go for a shinespike. You should also shield grab more which could lead to uthrow to uairs. Once during the match, you did a dthrow into a shine. Instead of doing the shine which has almost no combo potential, you should do down-tilt, up-tilt, or up smash. Finally, work on your DI.

actually, just don't do the dthrow, unless you have a very good idea what they're going to do out of it (and they have LOTS of options), and techcase w/ a usmash (or shield smash.

RedYoshi's 1000th post ^^^. but those techniques all focus on making you faster and harder to predict.

Not owning a gc doesn't raise the bar for the skill you'd need at a tourney, and it wasn't that impressive, Just make sure to DD a whole bunch and jump out of you're shines. And when in doubt about how to be better, just jump around lasering and watch for an opening, then usmash.

okay, okay, im not gonna be harsh buuuuut...

Do's

1. SHL (if you main falco its not a problem)

2. SHDL (a litte bit harder at first =p)

3. shffling (you should be able to shffl with any character, its not just a falco thing)

4. dash dance (not just a falco thing)

5. JC grabs (you need it with fox)

6. learn to waveshine (you cant waveshine luigi into anything but it helps with mobility)

7. check out dalal's fox movement tricks (theres useful stuff in there for other characters too)

8. if you come seeking advice, no johnz (clueless was right about your tech skill being subpar, so just accept some helpful flames until you get a little better)

Don'ts

1. Dont wait for the opponent to run into your charged smash attack. (the exception to this is waiting on the ledge for a predictable recovery)

2. Dont always go for the shine spike (i liked that you used some, but sometimes a back air off the ledge and into luigi's face is better)

3. Be more aggressive but use it intelligently, dont just dash attack around.

4. Dont roll so much, it really hurts you in the long run.

5. Try not to laser on the ground at all, let alone when the luigi is right next to you (luigi has a long painful wavedash to show you when you start lasering on the ground)

6. Don't think you own cause you got that 3-stock, humility is an important aspect of the game when youre attempting to better yourself.

All of the technical skills i've mentioned can be found in one of the stickied guides (i suggest reading cunning's) in the fox character section.

Keep working, thats all ive got for now.

-PM-'s doubles partner i know it doesn't raise the bar for skill but i don't play at all i just play when we are going to go to a tourney but, you see how you at least tried to help clueless just bashed on how bad I was... I mean like I know I am not the best at the game i just wanted to know what I needed to work on...

Learn to wavedash. Rolling doesn't cut it.

Also learn to SHFFL bairs/fairs into shines, and don't count on the forward smash to finish off your opponent.

GRAB!!

Grabbing into upsmash or u-air is fox's best option for most characters, as well as waveshining into u-smash or a grab as well. Learn some advanced techinques first, then put them to good use.

I dont know if this has been mentioned but you(or your friend) would always wait on the edge till the enemy get close then they did the attack from the edge......
Tis a bad habit, because you will get predictable...

clueless just bashed on how bad I was...
lmao. i only gave you an F for skill and i only said it once, also i told you some important things like canceling your shine with up. Also, i gave you an A for trying. I was NOT "bashing" on how bad you are.

BTW, the last i remembered it was a "Rate my fox, plz" theard. I gave you my honest opinion/rate. But you can't handle the truth? well, what do you want me do say? Should i tell you lies?...Your fox is GREAT! i'll give you an A! happy?

I just feel sorry for you.

ok, lets not argue now, we've all gotten past it. Just learn fist to use a bunch of Dash Dancing, jumping out of your shines, and when not DDind, jump around lasering. Then start practicing tech skill once you have a solid feel for fox (w/ above techniques). First learn to l cancel (which leads to shffling), then wavedash, and waveshine. Another easy one to learn is the jc usmash. just hit up, and up c a little apart. works out of a dash, shine, shield. an amazing technique that will help you out a bunch in no time.
