FF U-Air and platform drop U-Airs are super-doable on keyboard in practice mode. You have to press Up and A in the same frame to prevent jumping. You can buffer FF U-Air with some prediction (eg buffering a Z-cancelled aerial then running off a platform to FF U-Air), but you need preset combos for that to really work out.

My ability to do them disappears in online matches though.

ff uair with short hops are really possible, i can get them 100% with luigi, it takes time for the second up to kick in so in short hops you touch the ground thus negating the jump, when i try to do it in a full jump it just jumps again.

Of course all these things are possible guys. But if you can't do them consistantly (due to keyboard), it's not worth it in a match. Buy a controller. Lol same here Moogle.

I usually have a lot more trouble z-canceling it than executing it. Same with a SH d-air to u-air with Mario.
I'm with you there, I really only find myself hitting it 100% when I'mdoing it on my opponents shield or just on them, rather than showboating it when they're dead >.>
