Raptor Boost Platform Cancelled

So I noticed if you Raptor Boost as you are coming up onto a platform, there seems to be a small window where it will make the "whoosh" sound effect, and you'll land with "minimal" landing lag. It does not appear to throw out a hitbox or speed up movement, but has anyone found anything useful to do with this? Maybe a mind game after an upthrow to bait shield and regrab?

This is common knowledge. Spacie scan do it with their side b too, it's mainly for style and/or be bizzaro flame.
