Being a 23-year old dad, I don't really have many friends that are parents, so I don't have anyone to really share the minor everyday aspects of parenthood with (except my wife, of course). I'm not in the mood to write a huge essay, but from time to time I just want to write things I'm thinking about.
---------------------------------------------------
When my son wakes up at 7:00 AM in the morning, I always say to myself that I wish he would sleep in late one day, because I could really use the sleep. Last Sunday, it happened. I woke up at 11:00 AM, and he was still asleep, and I went back to sleep. 12:00 PM came, and he was still asleep. At 12:30 I got worried because he NEVER sleeps that late, and went into his room to check on him. That woke him up.
It's funny, because when I got exactly what I wanted, it really wasn't what I thought it would be. Same thing when he's awake; he makes tons of noise, but when he's quiet, I know he's up to no good.
