So, here's the breakdown
Wario's upthrow combos into waft within a very small percent window with optimal DI, but that window increases a whole lot without optimal DI.
The robin didn't seem to be DI-ing properly there (probably just holding down) so that confirm works well
How to do it consistently? You kinda can't, reacting to the opponent's DI is near impossible, and past a very select few characters and percent windows it's never a true combo.
You can still bait air-dodges tho
