So I was thinking about potential characters left hidden in the Wii U version or that may be included in the 5th game if there was one. So I started thinking about how the Harvest Moon Series has been a part of Nintendo for quite some time, getting it's start on the NES and with a good 70% of the titles being of Nintendo consoles, with the entirety of the spin off series Rune Factory being Nintendo Exclusive. I'm surprised it hasn't been represented at all.
So what are your thoughts on Raguna (Main Character of Rune Factory and Rune Factory Frontier) as a rep for the Harvest Moon and Rune Factory series? I mean with how customizable the characters are in terms of weapon choice and abilities in the games them selves are there's no doubt His move set could be unique. Heck you could even set it so that he uses a different weapon with each attack since the Rune Factory games allow many different weapon choices in game. Plus if there's a limit to eight outfits then you could go the Koopa Kid route and have each of his alt's be the other six main characters from the Rune Factory series and a last skin for Jack (Generic MC of Harvest Moon). Heck I even thought of a general move set.
Basic attacks use a short sword and shield
Dive and aerials use duel blades
Back aerial uses the Katana
Up smash thrusts the spear straight up
Side smash is a powerful swing from a long sword.
Down smash is a spin swapping between the hammer and the axe, the axe dealing more damage while the hammer has more launch power
Throws use the gloves
Standard special: Screw Rock
Side Special: Water Laser
Up Special: Sonic Wind
Down Special: Eruption (fires a ball of fire straight down and it acts like a weaker version of Megaman's Down Smash if it hits the ground)
Final Smash: Turnip Festival Causes a rain of regular, pink, and golden turnips to come down. The white ones act just like Peach's, bouncing off people and dealing minor damage. Pink ones don't bounce but deal a lot more damage. Gold ones hurt the most and have a lot of launch power. Near the end of the rain, giant versions (Tyrant Turnips) start falling doing even more damage than the little ones, ending with one extra large Golden Tyrant Turnip falling down the middle.
Mainly due to Turnips always being the first seed you're given in any HM or RF game, with an actual Turnip Festival being in a few games. Or just have a flood of RF monsters appear like in DeDeDe's brawl final smash. that works too.
I dunno, just a random thought I wanted to throw out there since I spent so much time thinking abut it in my boredom.
