R.O.B as a secondary?

Hey there PSI boys ans girls!

I'm currently searching for a secondary that would cover Ness weaknesses.

I'm pretty good with R.O.B and I wonder if he cover those weakness.

Let's talk about that.

ROB will cover Ness' projectile and range weakness, but Ness' bad matchups (Sheik, Diddy, Sonic) are all combo machines, and ROB is INCREDIBLY vulnerable to combos due to his large hitbox and lack of a quick combo breaking move. I'm not sure if he'll be solving your biggest matchup issues.

Sure, R.O.B is really a combo-easy character. Even if I space them with my projectile, a good Sheik will come at CQC and beat my Robot-reactor.

I'm also really good with Link, Mario and Game&Watch. Is there hope with one of them being more viable than R.O.B?
