So, I've realized that, at events and even just local fests, I take FOREVER to warm up. I'm talking like 2-3 hours of relatively solid play time before my hands are like "Oh wait we're playing melee? RIIIIGHT!" While I don't necessarily MIND this, I feel like it'd be a lot more beneficial if I could come into the event ready to go. Any tips on how to help warm up quickly and efficiently? Both state of mind and hands would be appreciated :)

Practice the fastest possible exhibition of tech skill that you can muster before you go to the tournament.

I see you play Marth. Maybe do like 50 of each aerial shuffled, wavedash back and fourth, waveland, and do whatever else other technical things you want to do. Keep in mind you should be doing all of the above as fast as possible.

If you start playing melee and you give yourself hours of friendlies to warm up, you're always gonna need that time to warm up. I always play by myself at the tournament before I play anyone.
