Quick Question

I'm making a Smash Bros related presentation for a college assignment (an annoyingly short restricted one too, as there is SO much I want to say). The report involves talking about a video game company, as well as one of their defining games. I'm just wondering if HAL (my company of choice) has any involvement in the creation of Smash 4, so I know whether or not I should have much focus on Smash 4. I know Bandai Namco is developing the game, but I'm wondering how much involvement HAL have, if any. I know they have some credit, but I'm assuming that's due to Kirby characters being in the game.

I don't think they've had much to do with direct development of Smash after Sakurai left them, which means post-Melee. As far as I know their only involvement with Smash 4 is that they own the Kirby characters.

I don't believe HAL has anything to do with Smash 4 outside of Kirby. I believe its Sakurai's team from the now defunct Project Sora and Namco-Bandai.
