I have a friend who I'm going to play today, unlimited format.

She has a wall deck >_>; 4 mewtwos and 56 psychic energy.

Thus, she can just barrier her *** and make me deck out.

the only chance i have of beating her is stalling for my evolutions by using shuppet's shadow crush in order to remove that 1 energy, but i only have ~10 psi energy, including ones in stock. i have a super energy removal, but only one...

suggestions?

I'm sure I speak for everyone at the Poke Center when I say: Wii know NOTHING about Pokemon TCG. The SWF Poke Center is about actual Pokemon. I suggest going to another site, preferably one that excells in TCG knowledge, and looking for an answer there.

However, I do know that on the first turn if your opponent has no basic Pokemon, then you get to draw a card. Wouldn't you draw, like, a lot of cards though? O_o

I know how to play the TCG.
Best bet is a Haymaker.
Or maybe make a stalling deck urself. Make sure u use normals resistant to psychic, and use Maintenence an cards that increase ur deck size.

Use the gambler trainer card and hope you flip tails so all of your cards in your hand get shuffled back into the deck and draw one card. Other than that just use a deck that beats the **** out of her or poison them so they get knocked out slowly but surely. If she swiches to cure poison it'll cost her energy and you can poison that one next turn.

It'd be helpful if you told us what Mewtwo she's using. You do know each pokemon has multiple cards, right...?
It's self-explanatory. What other mewtwo has an amazing combo with 56 energy cards?

Yea, you would draw ALOT of cards. And with mewtwo's effect, you will deck yourself out. a.k.a. you lose by the cheapest/gayest/lamest/what's the point of playing the tcg trick.

Anyways to the thread maker. Just don't play against him. Just punch him in the face and steal his cards. And he should be running 2x mewtwos. not 4.

But remember, you can CHOOSE to draw a card. ;)

That's still pretty clever, though...

I thought you were forced to draw the card. That's why it became so popular. Unless they changed the rule.

Yeah, they changed the rules in DP.

What if you don't have a Basic Pokemon Card in your Hand?
Then show your hand to your opponent, shuffle it back into your deck, and draw 7 new cards. Your opponent continues his or her set-up and can choose to draw an extra card after setting aside his or her Prize Cards.
