quick guide to unlocking all characters?

I was hoping that someone had already posted one, but I cannot find it...

I was hoping for a list of how to unlock all characters, levels, etc... as QUICKLY as possible when Brawl comes out. I do not care about spoilers, I do not care about the story. I will play through the subspace when I have time, but I want all of the characters as quickly as possible.

If no one responds to this, I will do the work myself and resubmit the thread for everyone else with a quick guide.
