How to do it without b-sticking: This method works best.
1:jump in a direction
2:B + C-stick in opposite direction while still holding the analog stick in the original direction.
It helps to change L,R, or Z to "special".
Somehow I didn't expect Ike could do it. It looks like a great way to evade an approach and then punish.
