Questions about lagging lag on Link's fair

Hi all,

I tried searching for this in this forum but didn't come across anything. I'm not sure if I am entirely correct (I haven't done extensive research), but it seems that there is less landing lag time when you land on Link's first sword hit from his fair opposed to the second sword swipe. Is this true or am I just hellucinating ( ) ..Also, if this is true it was probably found during melee ..

Thats correct, you can fast fall the first swing without any lag as well.
