I'm not sure how many matches M2K has played. I've played over 10,000 matches in Melee I think over the past 13 years. And this is my second file since I lost my original file years ago. I've definitely played more than 10,000 matches counting the matches from my second file and my old lost file.

Hard to say. There's probably tons of no-name Smash players that have frequented as many or nearly as many tournaments as people like M2K.

i find that really hard to believe, for me its defo M2K
If someone had even played 1/2 of M2K's matches they would already be in top 100.
