Question: Is SH Shield Canceling Possible?

I've already tried searching the forums...and the end result was no avail for me unfortunately. My question is whether or not short hop shield canceling is possible or not. I've already tried doing it and ended up failing...

Edit: Thanks for answering. I went into training mode and tried it. I can't always get it because my technical skills are still lacking x)

You can shorthop out of shield.

It can be kind of hard if you "flick" to shorthop instead of quickly pressing X

Well, this is either shorthop OoS or JC shield. First is possible, second is unnecessary. But it seems the guy figured it out, lol.

you can short hop oos with cstick, control stick, x, or y...
i dont get what u are asking though, shield cancel as in drop ur shield?
