[Question] Auto Cancel Bair

Why does every one place so much importance on the auto canceled bair, but not Falco's other aerials?

Answered my own question.

Since there are only 25 frames of the jump (short hop) where falco is airborne, it's impossible to auto cancel any other aerial that will actually hit your opponent other than the back air.

The only caveat I can see to this is if doing an aerial makes your short hop somehow longer. Does any one know if this is the case?

No, if anything instant aerials will make your short hop shorter, see ECB wackiness, especially Mario/Doc.

You're right! Testing on 20XX, I found that if I nair on the first frame that I'm airborne, I'm only airborne for 23 frames instead of 25.
