Question about wifi set

Does the lack of the light press in the wifi set affect wavedashing? I've noticed that when I've been using the wifi set my wavedashing is much less consistent than when I use the full set.

Hold on. I thought the Wifi Set was the one WITH the light press air-dodge.
My wavedashing on the full set is extremely consistent because of the hardpress, but the wifi version gives me a bit more trouble wavedashing. Although recently I've gotten used to it due to playing a lot of online.

Idk if it is my controller i thought switching to classic for wifi i can't WD like i normally do.

I dont think so; I think the last time I saw them was during the tour where they were first showing off a few songs from the hands that theive, before the albums release.

Edit: it can definitely affect your timing. I typically avoid the WiFi set for a few days before a big tournament if I am practicing a lot.
