question about up smash after dash attack. DACUS. sort of?

Hey guys. Sometimes when playing if i'm trying to dash attack into up tilt and I press the up tilt too fast and wrong I get something like this:

This was a thing back in brawl and it seems to happen once in a while in PM. anyone have any ideas how to get this out consistently? The timing seems much different from the brawl timing.

This is known as a gatling combo. Some characters can do it, and it basically consists of hitting a person with the first frame of a dash attack and then immediately hitting up smash. I would recommend using the c stick, but its preference, and it could be easier with A. I don't really use it that often as falco. Here is a guide I found.
