So if you land a weak knee and then a strong knee, does the knock back and damage decrease for the strong knee in the same way if you landed two strong knees?

I'm pretty sure I understand what you're saying. The move's power will decrease as normal despite weither you sweet spot it or not.

I dont think it will be a major problem tho. You can't spam knees like we did in melee. And only one missed attack shouldn't even decrees the attack in a noticeable way.

Waka the knock back and damage is only lowered if you hit someone or a destructible object, hitting someone shield doesn't count as well

this blows for zelda fans
Not really. Zelda's got two, she can alternate them, or spam one for damage and the other for kill. Not to mention her Upair kills at similar percentages, and her down air can sweet-spot a ridiculous spike.
