Do you need to use a rising uair in order to connect with uthrow-uair around 30-40%? This applies to di-away and towards you as well.

towards you/into you DI can get pretty tricky.

when they DI it's away the easiest - i don't even know how to say it but it's really easy to hit them. just dash forward real quick and shffl a uair. practice it in friendlies its really easy to figure out.

when they DI in after like 40% you can turn around and uair and hit them pretty reliably. a little before a shffled uair will work okay but try it out yourself a few times before you use it in tournament. at low or mid 30% you can either turn around and uair or maybe you can go for a reverse uair against marth and you could combo off that.

sorry its the very end of my 21st birthday so im way too drunk to answer any questions seriously. you gotta vgive me credit for trying though haha

buon notte!

the answer is yes, rising uair as opposed to falling uair for uthrow combos

uthrow hitstun isn't very good at all so you want to connect early to keep them stunned

but as with every combo that falcon has, you want to hit at the tail end of their stun to have as much time as possible to be able to combo from the uair hitstun
