Question about HDTV, Please Help!

I've been told that there is sometimes a lag in the response of wide-screen HDTV for video-game displays. Is this a function of the particular TV or type of TV, or is it a function of the TV's display screen, that is LCD vs plasma? Is there a problem with the slightly slower response of LCD pixels vs plasma? Is burn-in a problem gaming on plasma screens?

not sure i can help u on this buddy, all i know is those tvs are laggy.

Right, but not all HDTVs suffer lag, I think. I don't wanna read that whole essay there.

my HDTV dont lag at all
and i play resistence and madden07 for ps3 and ssbm and everything works good =]

Yeah, some are really unnoticible, but I think they all have some sort of lag.

lowest laggy and old models have .23(etc.) seconds of lag
