Question about Charizard Amiibo

I recently got ahold of a Charizard amiibo. I am wondering something.

If I give it Lifesteal, will the self damage from Flare Blitz be negated or lessened? What about the stronger version? I don't want to waste a Vampire equipment.

Couldn't you just make a custom set with Lifesteal and test it yourself before feeding it?

Even if you do give Charizard the Vampire equipment, it won't completely negate Flare Blitz's damage penalty, as its effects don't activate every single time that you land a direct attack.

It depends on the Amiibo's attack. The attack on my Charizard Amiibo is nearly maxed out and has a 1.3 damage multiplier with vampirism and critical hitter, so Flare Blitz will heal more than the recoil (if vampirism triggers).

Vampirism on Charizard is worth it no matter how you cut it.
