Pikachu's edge hogging game is one of the best in all characters.

Why: Because his Quick Attack always grab ledges first:chuckle:if BOTH you and your foe are trying to grab the ledge at the same or around the same time. But doing it at the wrong time can cause unnecessary damage and maybe even a stock. QA is like one of the best moves in the game if used right. But you can take this move even further so your opponent
cannot recover on the stage. Lke Ike and his Aether move. If QA timing is right during Aether, thats an easy kill. But unlike MK, he can fly like 6 or 7 times then Up-B. But like i was saying, this is a useful technique when used right.

Ill make a vid of pikachu's QA edge hogging

sorry how do u QA edgehog? i've been picking up pika as a secondary (cuz he's WICKED) and i can't seem to catch the edge of FD when i QA diagonally (FROM the stage or jumping slightly above the stage). do i need to press something or just get lucky? he usually just SD's in his freefall animation if i miss.

basically, what i've found is that if you are any distance on the stage (FD for example), that when you quick attack down-diagnol toward the edge and you'd go off the edge...one of two things will happen(well, technically 3). First, if you continue to hold down after you do the qac down-diagnol directional input, you will miss the edge and die. Second, if you let go of the control stick, so let it go back to neutral, after you input the direction, you will either: grab the edge really fast and make it cool looking, or end up slow falling below the edge, straight down, but not in free fall animation. I'm not sure yet how to determine how either of the second two things can occur, like the chance for each, but i do know that gotta get used to letting go of down, if you're trying to edgehog with QAC
