punishing the roll after a pillar

hi,

it's easy to roll away from a pillar, so as falcos, what do you follow it up with? falco's dash isn't particularly fast, but is fast it enough to chase the roll?

also, what do you do if they roll away while you are in the middle of a dair, doesn't that give them ample time so that you can't effectively chase their roll since you are in mid-air?

i did a search and couldn't find a similar thread, sorry for the noob question

laser....if you are close but not htat close...laser --> dair/grab/nair/shine

so basically when they roll away and you begin lasering again, it's just like you're approaching again; the approach is completely restarted, right? so rolling away would have been successful in "resetting" the status of the match in the sense that you both can approach each other?

laser if they roll back and den followup
just d-air to followup if they roll towards (if they actually try that)

you're controlling the spacing..i would hardly call that an adequate reset..but it is usually their best option
