Jake is definitely dropping Yoshi
Hmm...

What if Link threw his boomerang, and soon after he did that, someone hit Link upwards (e.g. Falcon up-air), then got hit by a Fox lazer (thus stopping his momentun and stun), then Link does his up-B, gets hit by the boomerang... would he be able to use his up-B again?

Obviously this wouldn't be practical by any means in a regular match setting (and would be nearly impossible to pull off at all), but... if this were the case, could it be done? :p

I'm just curious more than anything.

So basically the glitch here is that the boomerang-retrieving motion reset's Link's third jump?

But it doesn't appear to be as simple as that and looks like the boomerang has to be travelling at a more vertical trajectory and Link needs to "fall" on it.

I think Link has to be in his special fall, after the spin animation COMPLETELY finishes (which takes very long, if you jump twice -> up B the spin animation isn't finished when Link touches the ground, and he gets that massive landing lag).
