Ps3 or Xbox 360?

I have a wii (otherwise I wouldn't be here) and I believe it's time I get another console. These are the two main competitors for this. I'm leaning toward Ps3, but my brother just wants a 360 because of Halo. Ps3 seems way better out of the box than a 360, and the 360 games I would want I could get off steam mostly. Ps3 has Final Fantasy, Xbox has, umm... destroy all humans. And THATs only if I get the elite. Ps3 has Internet browser. Xbox I wasn't sure about what they said.

The best course of action to take would be to google the specs of both consoles and decide for yourself.
