Yeah, it's fun and all, but the story is so ****ty.

I have no sympathy for Alex Mercer. He kills for fun, and than whines that the government were big jerks to him, or whatever.

Also some of the voice acting is bad.

Also inFAMOUS is better.

I liked playing because I could kill hundreds of people with little or no consequence for my actions.

Technically, if you don't go on merciless killing sprees, Parasite Mercer doesn't kill any more than a couple dozen people (intentionally, anyway), all or at least most of which are evil are working for evil people. Not really sympathetic, but not a villain masquerading as a hero.

Alex Mercer was an ******* though, but Alex Mercer isn't the guy you're playing as: you're a virus that took on his form.

The game came out last year. Hardly the type of game that's really worth mentioning anymore. Especially since the game is so monotonous. Only thing I can really recall that gave me difficulty were those berserker monsters
Sorry. Don't want to look up their names. Too lazy
Those things were trouble. Rest of the game was all about holding down R2 (or whatever the 360 equivalent is) and never letting go. Story was lame.

As someone who worked at GameStop, I found it pretty lame they put in a GameStop advertisement in the game. -_-

Infamous was terrible.

No where near as fun or as difficult as Prototype.
Prototype was mildly simple. No reflexes or button mashing required. Just run, siphon life from innocent bystanders, and use your absurdly dangerous powers. Not a bad game but gets boring even when you're scouring the city.

Everyone loves comparing Infamous to Prototype. It's hard to go from your Godlike powers in Prototype to dying every other second in Infamous.

Guess that's why I enjoyed Infamous more. That and the parkour style movement.

Infamous is widely considered to be the superior game to Prototype.

I haven't played Infamous, but I've played Prototype at a friend's house for a couple of hours, and it sucked.

inFamous was light-years better than Prototype. inFamous played EXACTLY like a comic book, and I kinda wish they'd do episodes to continue the story.

Prototype was repetitive and stupid, overall. I still played it, but there were TONS of issues with the game, like the stupid side games where no matter how many hives or military bases you destroy, they will regenerate.

Prototype is my single least favorite game of all time. As far as I'm concerned, it was completely devoid of any redeeming value. The controls were horrible, the story was horrible, the gameplay was insultingly easy, and Alex Mercer is the worst protagonist in any game, ever.

Yeah that's all well and good.

But in Infamous could you quintuple powerbomb people off the top of buildings?

Plus it was FAR from easy on the hardest setting.

I will agree that It was very repetitive.
