Project64k Hacked / Redone.

What I did was redo the Project64 1.4 source code with some notes from the emulation website forums on fixing some bugs with it. Sense 1.4 is only project64 released version I was forced to use it and why pj64k is. I renamed my kaillera source emulator name to what Project64k 0.13's was so it would be playable. I tested it online (P2P) and it worked fine. I also updated the files using Own's kailleraclient and the updated RDB which i renamed so you could play normally again'st others on un-updated ones. I set the default plugin to Jabo 8 sense that jabo works with XP, Vista and windows 7 unlike Jabo 7 which crashes vista and windows 7.

Yo Smasher. I'm pretty sure I'll start using this if you get an icon. Just looks to wierd without one man.

When can we expect the next update?

Edit #1 O yea, Is there a way you can add Project 64 1.7's updated jabo's input plugin??

You hacked my version, but i don't care: http://www.smashboards.com/showthread.php?t=276166
It shows that you hacked my emulator. Just have to check your post date and compare it with my post date.
Actually, I downloaded yours stole the glide64 video plugin sense its perfect gfx plugin i ever seen. And i looked in hex editor on how you made it let any plugin without default plugin and not ds sense if you make it not have default in source code it will ds a lot. So i seen you just . . it all out so i did same and it worked but i added it to my one not yours. Also i did mini edit to source code, not build edits so that it will still be sable enough to play normal pj64k one. But ya i did steal some of your work sense i never thought editing it in hex editor would fix the default plugin.

In studying for finals, I totally missed this thread. I might check it out after my last final! Thanks for deciding to include my kailleraclient.

If I may ask, how do you reduce DSs? Like, what part of the code is being modified: is it graphical / audio stuff or is it network stuff?

I know this is a bump, but I just downloaded this hack of Pj64k below:

Since this version was made by Smasherx74 as well, I was wondering if the emulator provided in this topic was a later version of it, or something else entirely?

I think he has made a bunch of different kinds. Smasher isn't allowed to post in this (SSB 64) forum, but you can PM him to clarify.

okay.

I think Project64k 1.3 is a bit dated right now. The Smash64 community should decide on a new "standard" emulator, like Pj64k X. It's depressing being unable to fight anyone online because I have Windows 7 and my old emulators don't work properly.

You just need to configure it properly. Someone else can probably help you with that. I use Windows 7 and I can play SSB online.

its not really that dated, the client is dated, update the client and it becomes okay

its pretty functional actually, and changing to mupen for mario party isnt that much of a hassle

I can get online with SSB fine, it's just that I desynch really fast because I use Project 64X.

I just downloaded the Windows 7 version of Project 64k, but it's way too touchy, and there's no way to change the sensitivity.

Also, last time I checked, Project 64k wasn't updated since 2003.

2001.

Also, Smash came out 1999.

Anyway, I guess I'll have to deal with Win7 Project 64k, as long as it doesn't desynch...

EDIT: Okay, it's good enough for now.
