In Project X Zone, Pair Units have five regular attacks (usually influenced by direction), a Special Attack and a Multi-Attack that hits 2-4 opponents. Here’s moveset for Mario & Luigi as an example:
I wanted to open this thread to see other people take a crack at this kind of moveset.

None | Jump & Hammer [Effect: Bind] The Mario Bros. jump on the enemy's head, and then follow up by attacking with their hammers |
Left | Splash Bros & Bounce Bros. [Effect: Stun] Luigi jumps into Mario's hands, and the Bros. bounce up to attack. Luigi falls first, then the Bros. bounce like balls, finishing with Mario spinning on the enemy like a top. |
Right | Chopper Bros. & Knockback Bros. [Effect: N/A] Luigi uses his hammer to hit Mario like a golf ball multiple times, finishing with Mario rapidly swinging his hammer. |
Up | Swing Bros. & Cyclone Bros. [Effect: N/A] Mario swings Luigi towards the enemy; after Luigi bounce back, Mario catched him and the two spin towards the enemy as Luigi swings his hammer |
Down | Fire Flower & Thunder Jump Punch [Effect: Stun] Mario buries Luigi with a hammer and then uses a Fire Flower to hit the enemy multiple times, while Luigi travels undergorund and surprises the enemy with an electrified uppercut. |
Support | Negative Zone [Effect: Block Crush] Luigi uses the Negative Zone to distract the enemy while Mario rushes in with several power-ups. The enemy is completely frozen in place until the Negative Zone begins to shrink. |
Special Attack | Mario Finale [Effect: N/A] Mario and Luigi assault the enemy using their respective special moves from Super Smash Bros., ending with them each firing a giant fireball (red and green, respectively) |
Multi-Attack | Luigi Finale [Effect: Down] Mario and Luigi throw multiple fireballs into the sky and Mario spikes them into the enemy, while Luigi jumps up and shoots thunder from his hands. |
