Project M wifi tournament?

All i see in this thread are Wii U and 3DS listings. SInce you can play PM online practically lagless now, would anyone have any interest in joining one if it was held. Or would anyone be capable of organizing it?

I would join. Granted I don't main Pm anymore do to the fact I like the direction smash 4 is going so far. But a online Pm tournament would be awesome if its organized well.

As far actually organizing it I think it would be pretty easy( I mean I can't do because i've never ran a smash tournement before so :/) I would like to help but sense this could potentially create or destroy the chances of more Pm tournaments using WiFi I feel it should go to someone who's both well respected and can have real incentive for people to join.

Yes! That was main goal in posting it in this forum. Hopefully someone with experience will see this, and see the potential in online PM tournaments.

Ditto,I was thinking about this lately.I can't go to real life tournaments so an online one is the only way I could experience it.
I'd be game.
Don't know if I'd be good to organize it,unless I could still participate,but doing that sounds kinda iffy.

Like stated above neither one of us are tournament organizers but if we could get someone like toadsteroven who's known for having really well made online tournements then I could see this possibly working out.

Organizing a tournament isn't really that hard well also participating(example: in the early days of melee players were the only people organizing smash tournaments they almost always partcipated and they had to do 90% of things by hand so they were doing alot more work)

I would but he's still working on this really big smash 4 tournament that has 64 people participating spread across 2 console's so I planned to ask him about it in January after he's recovered from that tourney.

Granted my crew focuses on smash 4 so can't really help you there also be careful where you post stuff like that because that might cause a flame war. Now to the main point it would be awesome if you end up holding this tournament(it would be great if it was on the weekend because I have school >.<) if you end up doing it but need help i wouldn't mind helping.

Basically where people get into large arguemnts on the internet. Often involves two groups insulting each other often arguing who or what is better. Ex. Crew v. Crew or website v. Website etc.

can project M still be played online from a wii? I thought that was discontinued. If it isn't can someone tell me how to play it online because I can't find that info anywhere, it all says I need dolphin.

I downloaded the full set i figured that came with wifi but it says it's discontinued when I select it in game, guess I'll delete that and download the wifi one thanks.

got it working thanks man. now i need to find people to play. I'm still somewhat of a noob at this game and melee. I know how to wavedash and stuff like that but don't use it much besides ledge hogging because I don't know how to use it well.
