Project M Tournaments/Hookups?

I've just discovered the amazing game known as Project M a few weeks ago. I was a melee player in tournaments around Washington about 6 years ago but I didn't even try Brawl because I heard it sucked and had no technicals. Anyways, I'm LOVING Project M and am very sad I can't find any tournaments around the West Coast or figure out how to play against people online, any suggestions?
