Other More Important Topic: Does anyone know of any backup uses for specialty in teaching English as a foreign language outside of public schools? I've been planning my college around TEFL-certification along with any electives I can take to keep my potential hobbies alive, and well..I've put serious thought into maybe heading out to the East and seeing what that reality is like. I mentioned checking out Akihabara and all that jazz to see whats up; but I'm not sure that I could genuinely keep my young interests in my culture as a casual-geek/gamer/otaku and teaching kids that would RELY on the like of me in their extra-cultural education balanced on the scales. I know that there's this casual dream of heading out to a foreign country and somehow keeping your interests where you are at a young age, but isn't there anyway I can use English to make my interests and curiosities richer without becoming another public/highschool English teacher?

Edit: It's long drafts like this that prove I'm a 17 year old that shouldn't engage in fast-texting sessions.

Ugh, I hate group work when I can't quickly and easily contact the other members of my group. My group needs to turn in the beginnings of our outline for our research project and all we have left is to summarize the articles we each chose. They have done nothing with the google docs since the last group meeting and I can't contact them with enough time to ensure that I get a response. If they end up doing nothing then we will have a half-done assignment to turn in and all lose major points as a result.

I've already sent them two emails in the last few days and have had no response. I have one of the member's phone number but he never responds within a day or two and I am sure they both rarely check their emails. I am sure that they would be easily reached on Facebook, but I refuse to use Facebook to get in contact with my group unless I have to, as a last resort. I don't know why using a school email is so hard for other students. They can check their Facebook hundreds of times per day and text each other for hours on end, but can't be bothered to check their email at least once per day.
